Madara had talked away the only thing that has meant anything to Obito, now with nothing to fill his heart, he no longer feels emotions of pain nor happiness. Obito's emotions could not have been more manipulated more than they already have. Naruto would continue to fulfill his missions under Kakashi's command, someone who would further develop Naruto's will and love for the village.

Iruka Sensei saves Naruto on the night of his Academy graduation and finally accepts his student as a worthy ninja and builds the foundation of Naruto's Will of Fire and "Talk-no-Jutsu". Naruto's biggest factor in his life was meeting Iruka Sensei. Iruka's parents were killed in the same fox attack as Naruto's, explaining why Iruka took a liking for Naruto. Naruto was accompanied by Iruka Sensei, someone who took care of Naruto by becoming a strict teacher. Such a jutsu would set the world into an eternal genjutsu and Obito would "see" Rin again. In pure solitude and hopelessness, he agreed to complete the Eye of the Moon plan or the Infinite Tsukuyomi. The heartbroken Obito was left to rot in Madara's dungeon, still needing to regain his lost strength since he pulled his heroic stunt. Someone who was entrusted with the prestigious Sharingan, betrayed him in the worst way possible, taking away Obito's only beacon of hope, everything that Obito ever wished for: Rin. Kakashi was someone that Obito trusted his beloved Rin with.

After only 6 months of living with the old Uchiha, Obito would experience the biggest heartbreak that he would ever have to face in his life: Rin's death at the hands of Kakashi Hatake. He was picked up and nursed to health by Madara Uchiha. In an effort to save Kakashi from the falling boulders of the collapsing cave, Obito threw himself in the line of fire and crushed the entire right side of his body. However, things took a turn during the Third Shinobi World War. He was an emotional person, letting his care for the village drive him to become Hokage and his love for Rin to motivate him to be a better version of himself. Both were losers who needed a sensei to lift them up to power. Both shinobi exhibit a happy-go-lucky personality and share a deep care for others around them. Obito and Naruto: They were the same, but Naruto met Iruka and Obito met Madaraĭuring the Fourth Shinobi World War, Obito often compared himself to Naruto, stating that they have similar goals and how they put others' lives in front of their own. All I care about is completing the moon’s eye plan.
